VIRGINIA TECH WOMENS WATER POLO

Welcome to Hokie Polo!

Women's water polo has been a club sport at Virginia Tech since 2002. The team competes in the Atlantic region of the CWPA this year. In 2026, we placed second in our league and competed in five tournaments over two semesters. In 2025, we won our division and competed in the CWPA Collegiate Club National tournament in Maine. Not only are we a competitive group in the water, we also bond through team activities and social events. New players are always welcome as we hope to continue improving our team!

Throughout the year, we participate in about 4-6 tournaments that provide opportunities for both experienced and inexperienced players to learn and have fun! Our competition season is primarily in the spring, which allows for growth and practice during the fall. Check out our schedule to see when we will be playing this year!
